Dual Monster

You might be wondering why there’s an entry in a car parts blog called, “Dual Monster,” but anybody familiar with Banks’ line of quality products is sure to recognize the hum of a true Dual Monster Exhaust System.  If ever there was a product with an appropriate name, its Banks’ line of Monster exhaust systems and their ability to greatly enhance your vehicle’s performance.  For instance, there is the Banks Power Dual Monster Exhaust System that is built for the 1999-2003 7.3L Ford Powerstroke F250 or F-350 crew cab long bed.

Torque Converters

For a great improvement in your 2003.5-2007 6.0L Ford Powerstroke’s pulling capabilities, check out the Banks Power Billet Torque Converter.  When the factory torque-converter in your vehicle is tested against heavy tow-loads, there is a possibility for the poorly designed part to fail.  If this happened, it would damage your transmission and because most aftermarket parts have smaller clutch surfaces, their poor construction leads to higher transmission temperatures and clutch wear.  Thanks to the Banks Power Billet Torque Converter’s unique RaceLock design, this component was built to withstand the toughest of situations.

Unlike the competition where some manufacturers weld the torque converter’s turbine fins in place that leaves gaps susceptible leaking and loosening, the Banks Power Billet Torque Converter was brazed in a furnace ensuring the ultimate durability and performance.  It comes with a three-tiered clutch system and a bulletproof billet steel cover that maintains contact without any flexing.  These factors allow the system to triple the capacity of torque in comparison to stock from 600 to 1800 torque.

Due to the lockup clutches slip-resistant design, your vehicle’s transmission fluid stay cooler thereby extending your transmission’s lifespan.  The torque converter was made specially to match the Duramax’s torque band, which gives your wheels the most power possible and cuts almost a second off of the time it takes your vehicle to get from 0-60 MPH.  This diesel system is the most reliable in terms of longtime transmission preserving against fluid contamination and overheated fluid.

With all these special features and designs, you’ve go to be wondering how there could be any other dealer of aftermarket upgrades when Banks has everything you’ll ever need for great prices.  Not only are the parts immensely reliable, but having that special pricing is just icing on the cake.  So if you’re ready to make the leap and join the world’s best auto parts industry then go online at Banks Power Products, using the search bar located at the left-hand side of the screen or call at 714-848-2170.

Stinger System

One thing that Banks Power sure has a lot of is good deals on huge parts packages.  For example, take into account the Banks Power Single Exhaust Stinger System, with that many upgrades installed onto your 2003-2004 6.0L Ford Powerstroke F-250, F-350 – Standard Cab Long Bed, your vehicle will be able to handle the toughest of towing jobs without breaking a sweat.

Next up is a decision by you: to go with either a dual exit or single exit exhaust system for your diesel vehicle.  Both systems are designed using the same Mandrel-bending techniques to enhance flow but the duals will improve your exhaust flow a bit.  The main appeal of the dual exit exhaust system is the cosmetic appeal of a symmetrical system of pipes on your truck.

Then comes the EconoMind Diesel Tuner & Banks iQ, which allow you to perform the most minute tweaks to your vehicle’s boost adding up to 100 horsepower and 175 torque, controlling all of this with the large 5″ touchscreen display of the iQ.  The iQ is more, however, than merely a remote; the dashboard PC comes equipped with GPS systems, multimedia recognition software(mp3, videos, and games), as well as the ability to use the internet and take your iQ with you outside of your car.

Finally, included is the Monster Muffler which flows up to 201% better than the stock models.  They are designed with a 4″ diameter polished-stainless-steel flow path that has an exclusive expansion chamber that does away with the troublesome middle-range drone.

So what’s stopping you from getting this huge comprehensive package of top-of-the-line products?  With all these separate components coming together to positively change your diesel’s output than you have no other ulterior motives.  Head online at Banks Power Products using the search bar located at the left-hand side of the screen or call at 714-848-2170.

Banks Transcommand

If you own a Ford truck or van manufactured after 1989 then you might find yourself concerned with slips in the transmission and the softer shifts it goes through.  Designed for your 1997-2005 Ford Powerstroke with 4R100 or E4OD automatic transmission, the Banks Power TransCommand was designed to steer your vehicle away from the car-like shifts it goes though.  The TransCommand is a computer that manages your automatic transmission, sensing your vehicle’s tow load and balancing the hydraulic pressure in the transmission accordingly.  Your vehicle’s light-throttle shifts will perform in a smooth but firm way while using the full-throttle will see it using a solid, decisive shift eliminating clutch slippage and extending your transmission’s lifetime.  The system was built with easy to install, high temperature, solid-state components.

The electronic engine control, or EEC, built into your vehicle to moderate the electronic pressure valve, or EPV, will usually not synchronize with an added Banks installation therefore leading to clutch slippage and damaging your transmission.  Your safest bet is to install the TransCommand which will increase the hydraulic pressure when it senses the EEC doing so by a certain percentage.  The TransCommand takes into consideration your vehicle’s load and calculates this into the added hydraulic pressure.  An added bonus of decreasing your vehicle’s clutch slip is an improved acceleration rate.

But that isn’t to say that the only reason to install the Banks Power TransCommand is if you have installed Banks products on your vehicle already.  You can install it to improve your clutch shift no matter what as long as your vehicle has a E4OD or 4R100 automatic transmission; gas or diesel.  The fact is that the system will extend your transmission’s life and reduce its maintenance time and expenses.  Why go through the pain of installing a new transmission into your vehicle when you could install the TransCommand and forgo that huge price.

The system is quickly installed in 10-15 minutes and includes a bypass plug that can return your Ford to factory conditions should anything go wrong.  With all the pluses this system provides, it should be a no-brainer to get a Banks Power TransCommand for yourself.  So go pick one up online at Banks Power Products using the left hand side search bar or call 714-848-2170.

Diesel Intake Manifold

If you find yourself looking to improve your vehicle’s internal temperature balance and it’s air intake then you should try out Banks Power TwinRam Intake Manifold made for 1994-1998 5.9L Dodge Cummins.  The product described here was designed specifically for an EGR system equipped engine.  The TwinRam Intake Manifold comes equipped with a doubled inlet area, optimizing the distribution of air to the cylinder head, and flowing the boosted air equally to all six cylinders.  This system of equally proportioned air gets rid of lopsided internal temperatures, as well as balancing the cylinder air volume and producing a smoother output.  This greater amount of air into the chambers boosts your vehicle’s power rating, improves your durability and mileage, and reduces the emissions from your vehicle.

Another system ideal for making certain the air flowing through to your engine is doing so efficiently, would be the Banks Power High-Ram Intake Manifold built for the 2005-2007 6.0L Ford Powerstroke.  If you’ve been relying on your vehicle’s stock intake manifold then it sure isn’t performing at the highest capacity.  The stock design is cramped and angular, restricting the airflow; but thanks to the larger more streamlined High-Ram, your vehicle is going to be getting a greater flow oxygen-rich air into its cylinders.  The High-Ram will help improve your vehicle’s acceleration, its fuel economy, and delivers up to a 64% reduction in pressure loss.

Let’s say you’re looking for parts to enhance your vehicle’s racing capabilities, if so, then Banks has got the thing for you too.  The Banks Power Big Hoss Intake Manifold System for the 2003-2007 5.9L Dodge Cummins is designed specifically for Racing and requires modification to your vehicle’s hood to be installed.  Providing a tremendous amount of airflow, as well as creating a uniform distribution of that air, your vehicle will experience more available power at any boost level.  A great upgrade to this system is the optional Banks Power Boost Tube built to combine with your Big Hoss Intake Manifold System.  The Boost Tube helps the air flow more efficiently to the intake manifold by replacing the usually flat sections of tubing that come with stock models with a larger and better routed tubing.

Clearly Banks has got you covered when it comes down to selecting the perfect intake manifold for your vehicle, with such a wide variety I described here and there’s more that i didn’t have room to discuss!  If you find yourself interested in trying one out for yourself you can order one online at Banks Power Products using the search bar located at the left side of the screen or call the number 714-848-2170.
